Vans X Led Zeppelin Collection
Release Date: 22nd of February 2019
Availability:Vans.com and Led Zeppelin store
In 1968 four men from UK formed a band named Led Zeppelin. The band was formed after a guitarist Jimmy page recruited lead vocalist who is called Robert Plant, a keyboardist and bassist called John Paul Jones, and another man called John Bonham who was a drummer. Today, The band is acknowledged as one of the most important and the greatest in music history.
In 1971, the Led Zeppelin IV was released. Due to the critic reviews from their previous release, they decided to untitled their new release but represented it with four symbols. Each symbol for each member.
It’s now 50 years since the band debuted Led Zeppelin, the self-titled debut album. To commemorate their success, Vans partners with them to unveil capsule collection of apparel and footwear. The capsule collection will include limited edition of two of Vans most iconic footwear, Vans Sk8-hi and Vans Era. In term of apparel, the collection will include a long sleeve tee and an adjustable trucker hat.
The collection respects the band uniquely. The Vans Era features the individual symbol of each band member while the Sk8-Hi has the burning Hindenburg Airship artwork across the lateral and medial quarters. Red Led Zeppelin text branding can be found on the upper and the individual symbol on the midsole of the SK8-hi.
On the Vans x Led Zeppelin long sleeve tee is the original album artwork of the burning Hindenburg Airship. Red Led Zeppelin and “Off The Wall” text branding are printed on the sleeve. The trucker hat features the same artwork.
This collection will be available for a limited time at select vans retail store. For online availability, check out Vans.com and Led Zeppelin store

February 17, 2019 at 12:34 pmI like these designs! The Era would suit me I think more than the Sk8-Hi, but they’re both really cool. Especially since they were inspired by Led Zeppelin. I like the story of the band members’ symbols as an album title too. Nice touch. I followed your link to the Led Zeppelin store too. Some great t-shirts on there. Great post, thank you 🙂

February 17, 2019 at 12:35 pmNice review on Vans X Led Zeppelin Era and Sk8-Hi.
the key features I like most is Both sneakers feature a black base with white detailing and Led Zeppelin signage in tribute to the legendary British rockers.
just that the collection will only be available for a limited time and that may not give many fans as much time needed to buy as much as they want

February 17, 2019 at 1:07 pmYeah, that’s right Ajibola. I don’t feel too happy about the limited edition too.
I’ve been thinking of getting Vans SK8-hi. I would like to get one in this version. I think it really looks dope.

February 17, 2019 at 1:07 pmHi Vance,
Thank you very much for sharing such a informative article with us. If I do not read this article, I cannot find out more about “Vans X Lead Jeppelin”. This article will be very helpful for rock and roll legends. Before I read this article, I did not know the four symbols. After reading the article, I can know the interesting 4 symbols from here, each symbol for each member. I liked the shoes with 4 symbols, so I would quickly collect shoes with these symbols. Thanks again once for awesome post I’m going to bookmark and share with my friends.
